Community and Alumni Marching Band

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT: Park High Band Alumni, family and friends - we are happy to announce registration to participate in the 2017 PHS Alumni Band for the Livingston 2nd of July Parade is now open! Mr. Stannard has coordinated with The Livingston Chamber of Commerce to have the band appear at this great towns tradition!

Alumni band members from 2017 all the way back will perform with a handful of current HS students, and some fun music to share with the community - it's a great way to enjoy a passion you used to share or perhaps still do with music and community. No time like the 2nd of July Parade could be a better atmosphere for our wonderful alumni to gather for a short period to reminisce.

We don't expect any judges on the route, so if your marching or horn angles are a little rusty, rest your worries now! And yes drumline, brass and woodwinds are all included.

Saturday, July 1st (6:00pm - 8:00pm) @ PHS Band Room

Performance -

Sunday, July 2nd (1:30pm - 3:30pm) @ PHS Band Room/Downtown Livingston

Uniform T-Shirts will be for sale for (no more than) $15 via CustomInk.com. Upon registration, information will be sent via email with a link to purchase the T-Shirt and a link to the parade music. Pick whatever part best suits your current "chop" status.

School instruments are provided for all of those who are in need: first registered, first served.

What a great weekend to share together. We look forward to seeing you all. Friends, family and all are welcome to perform or attend. Maps, parking information, and such will be sent out to all registered participants on June 26th.

High School students will get (4) community service hours for your 2017 - 2018 school year requirements.

District Music Festival

Friday April 21st

Wind Ensemble will load the bus at 6:15am in the Park High parking lot. Arriving at Bozeman High at 7:00am - we are scheduled to perform at 7:30am in the Bozeman High Gym. The Bus will return to Park High by 11:45am (End of Second Lunch). We will grab an early lunch in Bozeman from 10-11am.

Ladies: Please wear your Wind Ensemble Dress on the Bus. You can change when we return to PHS.

Gentlemen: Wear your marching uniform w/pep band shirt. on the bus, you can change when we return to PHS.

Band Camp - Summer 2017 - August 7th - 9th

After a very successful band camp last summer, we have decided to expand the camp include an overnight element. There is no cost to attend this camp!

What to bring:

LIV Jazz Fest Update

There's no turning back now! Festival details and online applications have been sent out to all high school and middle school band directors across the state. Grant writing is in progress and festival jobs and responsibilities are being defined. I hope to have a clear framework of staffing needs for the next parent meeting May 8th (6:30pm Band Room).
